Outwork your competitors in order to win

hardwork and success

We all have dreams

We all have a dream we want to achieve in life. The funny part about our dream is that sometimes most of them are big. We want that big house on the hill, Lamborghini, a great business etc. The part that I am interested in is if they are putting in the work to achieve their objectives. It’s easy to get lured into the process of fantasizing about the event of achieving our goals.  Instead of putting in the work to achieve it, for example the other day one of my friends started a new local business.

He looked very excited and happy not about the processes of his day to day business of achieving that goal. But instead of the event when he is free from the day to day grind and living that lavish lifestyle. A lot of persons tend to get caught up in this process instead of putting in the real work. They underestimate the work it’s going to take to achieve their goals. So what they do is underwork instead of overworking in order to achieve success.

Hardwork and success

When it comes onto hardwork and success, you have to put in the work. There is no way you can escape that. If you cheat the system sooner or later it’s going to fall. Or it’s not going to feel meaningful enough and you are going to be left having an empty feeling inside. There is something special in working hard and grinding your way through on a daily basis to achieve success. If you find some sort of leverage that can help to accelerate your success that’s okay because who wouldn’t want that. But in the meantime and until that happen if it ever will, you have to put in the work.

There is no way you can achieve success without paying your dues. If money is your problem and it’s preventing you from starting something. Well go out there and hustle for money. It’s pretty simple. I hate it when other persons just fluff at another guys success who worked hard on their goals and call it luck. I find it pretty disrespectful as well, because the ones who are criticizing weren’t there when that person was just putting in the long hours on a daily basis. They never saw the rejection after rejection that he or she faced in order to reach a certain level.

Overestimate hardwork

It’s easy to criticize but it’s hard to get up off your couch, set your goals and get to work. That’s a whole different game. It’s going to be a long, lonely and tiresome road but it will be worth it in the end. Whatever you want to achieve right now, don’t underestimate the amount of work it’s going to take, instead overestimate it. This will allow you to have a certain level of expectation for hardwork when it comes.
